Delegation of AFAD, the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency from Turkey visited BRI on 11^th December 2019. They exchanged views with BRI Vice President and Director of IISEE. After that, they visited some facilities.

Grade 10 students of Tsukuba International School came to BRI and visited some experimental facilities related to house design on 10^th December 2019. They visited LCCM Demonstration House and listened to the explanations from researcher.

The delegation of universities from Thailand visited BRI on 19^th September 2019. A BRI researcher from the department of Environmental Engineering explained about the solar simulator.

A Technical Day Symposium of International Energy Agency’s R&D program “Energy in Buildings and Communities”　was organized by the Belgian Buildings Physics Association (NVBV) in June 2019 in Brussels. Vise President of BRI attended as a chair of the program.

BRI members exchanged views with members of German Bundestag about promotion of BIM at the German Embassy on 17^th September 2019.

Researcher of IISEE gave a research presentation at the 11^th?IPRED (International Platform for Reducing Earthquake Disasters) meeting held at UTCB（Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest）in Bucharest, Romania on 9^th-15^th?June 2019. Represents from 10 countries: Japan, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Romania, Egypt , Algeria, El Salvador , Turkey and Kazakhstan attended the meeting.

The delegation of KICT,KDHC and Incheon National Univ. visited BRI on 20^th August 2019. Director of IISEE and Coordinator for International Research Cooperation explained outline of IISEE and BRI. The senior researcher of Dep. of Structural Engineering introduced Large Size Structure Lab and Structure Testing Lab..

The delegation of Architecture and Building Research Institute of Taiwan visited BRI on 9^th August 2019. The senior researcher of Dep. of Environmental Engineering exchanged views and introduced LCCM demonstration house.

A Chief Research Engineer of Dep. of Building Materials and Components got interviewed by KBS (Korea) about BRI’s R&D activities in wooden building field on 11^th June 2019.

The delegation of Korea Land and Housing Corporation visited BRI on 11^th June 2019. Chief Research Engineer of Dep. of Fire Engineering exchanged views and explained experimental equipment of Fire Engineering field.

The work meeting on buildings among BBSR of Germany, NILIM and BRI was held on 28^th May 2019. In the meeting, exchanging ceremony of MoC (enacted in April 2019) was held in the presence of representatives from each institute.

CRO of Wellington City, New Zealand visited BRI in May 2019. The researchers of Dept. of Structural Engineering exchanged views and introduced some facilities.

Delegation of DHUP (the French Government), French Embassy, CSTB, FCBA, MLIT(Japan) and BCJ visited BRI as a part of the 12^th Japan-France Building and Housing Conference on 10^th May 2019.

A BRI researcher of Dep. of Housing and Urban Planning was commissioned by Institute for Urban Research of Malmo University, Sweden and gave a lecture. He also attended the Malmo Real Estate Research Conf. and gave a research presentation on 7^th to 10^th May 2019.

Dr.Uribe, distinguished professor and cofounder of Escuela Colombia de Ingenieria, and his wife visited BRI for exchanging views with the BRI President and researchers in structural engineering and seismic engineering on 15^th April 2019.

Students of Tsukuba International School visited several different experimental facilities on 24^th January 2019. Each experimental site, researchers of that field explained their research and demonstrated some experimental tests for the students.
